If you are Black, Indigenous, a Person of Color, LGBTQIA+, or part of the disabled community and have a dream of offering yoga to the world through your unique way of being, we have a scholarship opportunity for you!

Our Core Values, written with so much thought and care by our team, are held very near to our Funky hearts. These values are pretty simple: Create Accessibility (on purpose,) Know Better Do Better (grow from our experiences,) and moving with RICH Action (respectful, integral, intentional, caring, honest, and humble action.) 

All we do at Funky Buddha Yoga is decided with these beliefs and tenants as the fore factor. Through various avenues, we do our absolute best to lessen the barriers to yoga that so many in our community face. With our first Core Value, Create Accessibility, in mind, we created scholarships for our Yoga Teacher Training program.

For each program, we offer a full-ride scholarship to our community non-profit partners. Additionally, we offer one full-ride and two partial scholarships to our community of Black, Indigenous, PoC, disabled, and LGBTQIA+ folks.

Funky Full Ride:

Includes program tuition, an Unlimited Membership for the program length, and all required reading books (valued over $3,600.)

Partial Scholarships:

One $500 and one $1000 scholarship will be awarded to a community member, to go toward cost of program tuition.

If you would like to be considered for a scholarship for our 2024-25 cohort, please fill out the Scholarship Form along with your YTT Application by September 19th, 2024. All scholarship applicants will be contacted by September 23rd, 2024.
