SUMMARY:Meditation Circle | 5 Kleshas
DESCRIPTION:Breathwork Ceremony \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Deets Short'n'Sweet \n \n \n \n What to Expect! \n \n \n \n \n \n \n We’re so honored to host our first embodiment of the 4th Limb of Yoga! We invite you to a sacred breathwork ceremony in partnership with Leah Grace\, founder of the Somatic Wisdom Institute–a trauma-informed healing collective rooted in deep embodiment\, emotional aliveness\, and nervous system restoration. This breath work session is guided by Leah\, supported with meditation by Larissa\, and concludes with a sound bath lead by both. When\, Where & What to Bring:1:00-4:00pm October 26th Eastown Studio Bring anything you would bring for your regular yoga class; make sure to bring water. Optional Supports: A blanket\, pillows\, anything you need to make a cozy space for yourself!  Pricing:$69 for Funky Buddha Members | $79 for nonmembers \n \n \n \n \n \n Whether breathwork is part of your practice already\, or a new step on your journey\, we invite you to join us! Through open-mouth\, circular breath and somatic movement\, we’ll create space for a gentle awakening of your vital life force\, or in the language of yoga\, Prana. The hustle\, bustle\, and survival conditioning of life can sometimes disrupt this current – which may leave us feeling worn down\, under-resourced\, or like we’re “going through the motions.” This session intends to move with the current. With deep-safety –and individual pacing–we’ll move through those old holding patterns and release the emotional weight that may be calling for support. The Somatic Wisdom Institute believes in healing by listening\, honoring\, and reclaiming. We won’t be teaching you how to transcend\, we’ll guide the way for you to come home–to your practice\, to your body\, to your whole (Funky) self. You’ll be invited to:Connect with your body’s anchors of safety: Learn and practice simple techniques and resources to help active your “rest and digest” system (Ex: Noticing the sensation of your feet touching the floor\, or feeling the fullness of your inhale and the relaxing qualities of your exhale) Practice somatic movement and sound: invite new awareness of your stress-holding patterns\, and new openness in your bodyThis might look like swaying or bouncing\, standing or sitting\, or simply resting; You might create the sound of lion’s breath\, or deep sighs\, or settle into your own comfortable silence. Use gentle circular breathing: to build charge\, process emotion\, and release stored tensionAlso known as seamless breath\, this practice is the gradual smoothing of the transitions between breathsOur breath is an incredible resource for stress relief; you might breathe quicker or slower than your usual pacing\, and we’ll guide you through to find your optimal pacing.  Be supported through trauma-informed touch (opt-in only) Move at your own pace: in your own timing\, with no need to perform\, just practice. We’ll also invite you to arrive with an open mind and heart\, remove any expectations (no traditional yoga flow\, no goals to meet)\, and allow yourself to be moved–physically\, mentally\, and emotionally–in brand new ways.    Want to know more? Check out these resources! What are the benefits of breathwork? What does Somatic (of the body) really mean? What are the 8 Limbs of Yoga? Pranayama? What is Circular Breathing? How do we do that? What is Prana?   A Look at the Science Behind Breathwork   Please note the following contraindications: Pregnancy\, severe asthma\, severe heart disease\, unmedicated high blood pressure\, mental illness\, epilepsy/history of seizures\, acute physical injuries\, severe or unregulated diabetes.    *If you aren’t sure if breathwork is right for you or have more questions\, please reach out to us! We’d love to chat! *Privacy is important to us! No photos will be taken without participants’ consent & as always\, your time with us is confidential. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Join Us <3

SUMMARY:Meditation Circle | 5 Remembrances
