500 Hour Yoga Teacher Training

FBU: Yoga Teacher Training (500 Hour)

The Funky Buddha University’s 300-hour Teacher Training Program is designed to take your teaching, communication, and yoga skills to the ‘next level’

Overview of Program Structure

The Funky Buddha 500-hour Curriculum is arranged into three individual 10-day sessions:

    • Spines, Breath, Compassion & Boundaries
    • Shoulders, Systems, Creativity & Sequencing
    • Hips, Brains, Curiosity & Feedback

You can attend any session of the Funky Buddha 500-hr Curriculum, in any order. You may also attend a session simply to dive deeper into your yoga practice, even if you are not a teacher. This 500-hour Continuing Education through The Funky Buddha University is meant for both teachers and experienced hobby students.

Attendance to all 3 sessions will give you all the necessary requirements needed to apply to Yoga Alliance for a 300 or 500-hour certification (in conjunction with a previously held 200-hour certification).

WHY I LOVE TEACHING: Teaching anything well is all about the Art of Communication, and communication, how we communicate with ourselves and each other, changes EVERYTHING. In addition to yoga and functional movement, my main areas of study are mindfulness, communication, personalities, and the science behind why we act, communicate, and interact the way that we do, and teaching yoga lets me explore, and share, all of these things. Teaching also keeps me curious and looking for solutions, which makes for a happy life!
